I have seen this program grow from its infancy.  Our motto is “bigger and better every year” for good reason.  We do not fear change.

Our residents are some of the best in the country.  They are a big part of what has shaped this program.  We count on their feedback to continue to improve on a daily basis.  We try to accomplish what they consider to be top priorities.

Our program offers an excellent training ground.  Inspira Medical Center Vineland is a busy community hospital with high volumes, lots of acuity, and extensive pathology.  Our hospital is both a certified Stroke Center and a certified Chest Pain Center.  We have our own pediatric emergency department and dedicated senior emergency department, too.  There is also a state-of-the-art Simulation Center.

We are committed to didactic excellence with weekly lectures, monthly M&M conferences, guest speakers, journal clubs, and a full simulation and ultrasound program.  Our faculty is extremely motivated; they are inspired by our residents each and every day.

What does being an Inspira EM resident mean?  It means that you are clinically skilled and productive, you are dedicated to working well with your colleagues for the good of the patient, you engage patients to create participatory care, you demonstrate leadership skills based on high performing team principles, you adhere to best evidence, and you manage resources effectively.

Our residency graduates are flourishing in hospitals all over the U.S.  That is a testament to their training program.  As an Inspira EM resident you will become a well-rounded emergency physician who thinks about what your job will be like in the future.
