Journal Club is a monthly event for the review and critical appraisal of key publications of importance to the practice of Emergency Medicine. Papers chosen for review at Journal Club represent important, influential, and landmark publications of wide interest. Both faculty members and residents attend each Journal Club and they are led by a resident that summarizes the discussion and determinations that are reached.

wellness and volunteering

Due to increasing burnout among physicians nationwide, Inspira has created a Resident Wellness Committee. This dual attending/resident run committee focuses on preventing burnout, organizing get-togethers, and providing resources to treat burnout. We hold weekly talks during didactic lectures to promote well being and engage in resident volunteering activities to better serve the community.

We offer a unique AIR EMS program where resident physicians have the opportunity to ride along with a flight paramedic and flight nurse and serve those with life-threatening illnesses. We also have residents holding medical command during their EMS rotation

Our Location

Philadelphia and South Jersey

We are located in Vineland, NJ. Most residents live either in Philadelphia or in the suburbs right outside of Philadelphia on the New Jersey Side. This allows for a quick commute while still being able to enjoy the best of Philadelphia as well as Southern New Jersey.

Southern NJ with its renowned wineries, gourmet cuisine, open spaces and close proximity to the world class beaches and communities is a great place to call home.

Additionally, Philadelphia, recently earning the ranking of 2nd best place to visit this year by US News & World Report is a world class city with endless opportunities to explore and find things to do, and enjoy world class food.

Philadelphia is a hybrid of old and new, classic and cool—experiencing a renaissance of its own. With some of the nation's best restaurants, bars, and art galleries, offering a destination for young professionals and creatives alike–and giving Philly a whole new, revitalized feel. But at its core, Philadelphia is a city that runs on a medley of culture, tradition, and so much history. From the world class professional sports teams to the ever-famous cheesesteaks, and the deep-rooted historical context, to the city’s landmarked buildings and cobblestone streets, there are endless opportunities for exploration and surprises.
There’s one thing that everyone in Philly can agree on – our love of food. The Philly food scene is truly remarkable, with so many chefs gravitating to this city to launch pop-ups, food trucks and restaurants. The City of Brotherly Love is getting recognition for its culinary scene, thanks to the James Beard Foundation. Philadelphia scored nominees in the Outstanding Chef, Outstanding Restaurateur, Outstanding Service, Rising Star Chef of the Year and Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic categories. It was the only Pennsylvania city to do so.
There's this thing that happens as you head south along New Jersey's Garden State Parkway. Suddenly the road drops low and flat, kissed on either side by grassy marsh, while the wide-open sky blurs into a watery horizon. As you draw closer to the Atlantic Ocean and begin to take in the dunes and the deep-set beaches. Known for world famous beaches, amazing award wining wineries, and open spaces with quaint downtown spaces, you will love exploring southern New Jersey
